From directing the SIRS program to acting as your ombudsman in problems with Computer Associates, the NAIUA has maintained a strong voice as the elected representative of you, the Ingres user.

The Ingres Conference

A Featured Speaker at the conference will be Dr. Michael Stonebraker, Founder of Ingres.

The Ingres Conference is scheduled for November 7 - 11, 2004 in Kansas City, Missouri. The conference is sponsored by Database Management and Technology and Computer Associates. The goal is to make this a very technical Ingres conference that includes detailed demonstrations and hands-on labs. With the impending release of Ingres version 3 and the open source initiative the timing is perfect. For the event to be a success, participation from the NAIUA members and the rest of the dedicated Ingres community is needed.
